Historic Prescott

Just 27 miles up the road is the famous western City of Prescott. In 1864, Prescott was established as the territorial capital of Arizona. When you are in Prescott:

  • Visit Whiskey Row, in Prescott, and stroll along the same streets where Wyatt and his brother Virgil Earp walked along with Doc Holliday.
  • The Palace, on Whiskey Row, was the first frontier saloon in Arizona. It is the most historic restaurant and famous saloon in the state.
  • Enjoy the world-class restaurants, casinos, shopping, and beautiful historical architecture. If you wish to reside with us while attending Prescott’s world-famous Rodeo, book your reservations well in advance!
  • Don’t miss Sharlot Hall Museum, the largest museum in the central territory of Arizona. This museum provides educational adventures in human and natural history.
